David Edwards

David Edwards

David Edwards is a Sussex based jazz singer who specialises in songs made famous by the Rat Pack. He has been making a big impact on the Sussex music scene entertaining his audiences with his wonderful renditions of songs from the ‘Swing Era’.

David can offer line-ups from a duo (piano and vocals right up to a five piece jazz band. This makes it really easy for anyone organising an event to tailor the size of the band to the budget and available space.

David’s influences have been wide and varied but his main ones have been Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies Jnr, Dean Martin, Tony Bennet, and Nat King Cole. A lot of the songs included on the repertoire list were recorded by these great jazz singers. However, David manages to breath new life into these great numbers.

David’s music is ideal for weddings, corporate events, private parties or any event where a sophisticated ambience is the key feature. He has also performed at jazz brunches, theatre shows, vintage festivals and product launches.
